Employee Focus: Head of Human Resources at Keplin

Rakhi brings an impressive track record of leading HR teams across the UK, Europe, India, Jamaica, and South Africa. With this global experience, she joined Keplin to strengthen our recruitment efforts and champion employee wellbeing. Discover what her journey with us has been like so far.

When did you start working at Keplin? 

I joined Keplin in April 2025 and have enjoyed being part of the business’s growth journey since then. 

 
What’s a typical day like in your role? 

In the HR World, no two days are ever the same - which I really enjoy. A typical day can involve catching up with the team to understand what guidance they need and to talk through any barriers or challenges around hiring. Some days are focused entirely on recruitment tasks and projects and understanding current and future hiring requirements. Other days it could be procuring vendors, working closely with line managers to support them in managing their teams, and their development.  

There’s also a strong element of blue-sky thinking and looking at challenges from different angles, thinking outside the box, and finding practical solutions. I spend time reviewing and benchmarking staff benefits, shaping team training and development, and continuously looking for ways to go one step further in improving the overall employee experience. 

What skills have you developed since joining? 

Managing a large HR team has been positively challenging in the best way. I’m fortunate to work with a talented and supportive team who share the same goals and are highly self-motivated. This has helped me further develop my leadership style, focusing on trust, collaboration and empowering people to take ownership, while balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day support. 

What’s your favourite part about working at Keplin? 

The people and the culture! There’s a genuine sense of openness and trust, where people are encouraged to speak up, share ideas and be themselves. It’s a real collaborative environment. 

What would you say to someone who’s thinking about joining Keplin?

Last question, what do you like to do outside of work? 

When I am not at work, quality time with my family is everything to me. I love travelling and exploring different cultures, cooking different types of cuisines, and enjoying movies and the theatre. I also appreciate fine wine - especially a good Merlot!
