At Keplin, employee wellbeing and safety are at the heart of everything we do. This week, our team took part in a combined Fire Safety and Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) training session delivered onsite by Good Egg Medical—and it was an engaging, hands-on experience that brought the whole team together.
The interactive training took place in our brand-new office, giving employees the perfect space to learn essential skills, participate in practical exercises, and build confidence in managing real-life emergency situations.
The session combined two crucial areas of workplace safety:
Understanding fire risks in an office environment
Safe evacuation procedures
Proper use of fire extinguishers
Recognising different fire types and responses
CPR and recovery positions
Responding to choking and breathing difficulties
Treating burns, wounds, and injuries
Assessing emergency scenarios calmly and effectively
Each attendee had the opportunity to get hands-on experience, ask questions, and practice life-saving techniques under expert guidance.
By the end of the session, every participating Keplin employee received an official certification, demonstrating that they are now fully trained to respond confidently and responsibly in emergency situations.
This milestone strongly reflects our “People First” company value:
We treat everyone with kindness, and we prioritise wellbeing and safety across the organisation.
Investing in training like this ensures that our workplace remains not only productive, but also protected, informed, and empowered.
This was one of the first major team activities held in our brand-new office-more updates coming soon! The modern space provided an ideal environment for collaborative learning and practical demonstrations.
The day also offered great moments of team bonding, plenty of engagement, and a few laughs along the way… as you’ll see in the behind-the-scenes photos!
Workplace safety isn’t a one-off initiative at Keplin—it’s part of our culture. We will continue investing in training, wellbeing programmes, and team development as we grow.
Thank you to Good Egg Medical for delivering such an informative and engaging session, and well done to everyone who took part!
